Airedale International Air Conditioning overcame international competition to scoop two awards for its technology.

The Rawdon-based firm - currently operating form temporary premises in Leeds following a major fire last September - won the data centre energy efficient product category at the Data Centre Solutions awards. Airedale has also clinched the commercial building services product prize in the H&V News contest.

Both wins were for its SmartCool high efficiency chilled water precision air conditioning unit. from Airedale's specialist data centre technology division which produces cooling equipment designed to tackle the sector's rising electricity consumption..
