FITTED furniture specialist Hartleys is extending the opening hours at its Skipton showroom and recruited a design consultant as trade continues to grow.
Designer Neil Roberts, who has 20 years' experience in interior design and building, has joined the 12-strong team, enabling Hartleys to open its showroom at the Snaygill industrial estate on Saturdays from October 4. .
Owner Richard Hartley said: “We’ve been building fitted furniture in Skipton since 1985 but the showroom opening times have usually been tied in with our Monday to Friday factory and office times.
"We’ve been listening to what our customers really want, however, and it’s clear that weekends are the time when couples are most able to find the time to see the options we have available. Neil joining the team means it is now feasible for us to open on a Saturday from 10am to 3pm.”
Mr Hartley continues to head the business as well as designing rooms for clients. Specialising in fitted bedrooms, the firm also designs furniture for multi-purpose rooms, including home offices, loft conversions and home cinemas.
