FASHION retailer New Look has boosted its half-year profits, but said it remains cautious after unseasonably warm weather.

Like-for-like sales lifted 6.9 per cent and underlying pre-tax profits jumped 30.7 per cent to £28.1 million in the six months to September 27 as it maintained gross margins despite “constrained full price sales” of its autumn and winter ranges.

The firm has 571 UK stores, including branches in Bradford and Keighley.
