Man taken to hospital after suspected stabbing outside alcohol store
A MAN has been treated in hospital after being stabbed in a row outside Chata's Booze Discounter Store, in Beacon Road, Wibsey.
The 34-year-old suffered a small wound to his lower back in the incident with what was believed to be a sharp implement, said a police spokesman.
Officers were called to a report of an assault at the scene at about 8.20pm last night.
A 43-year-old man has since been arrested and is in custody on suspicion of wounding with intent.
