TWO Rottweilers were rescued from a house fire in Bradford that was sparked by washing being left on a lit oven hob.
Fire crews from Odsal station were called to Whitehall Avenue, Wyke, at 2.50am today. The family of four in the property - who were in bed at the time - had managed to get out, but firefighters had to go in to get the dogs.
A fire service spokesman said clothing from the tumble dryer had been left on the hob. She added: "It was accidental."
No-one was injured and the dogs were unharmed.
