FIRE crews were called after a car caught fire on a busy Bradford road today.
An electrical fault in the engine of a Peugeot 206 caused the car to set on fire on Tong Street.
The male driver was not injured in the incident but was described as badly shaken.
Fire crews from Bradford and Fairweather Green and police were called to the incident at just after 10.40am.
Watch commander Simon Moore, of Bradford Fire Station, said: "The driver was a bit shaken but was OK.
"The car was being driven by someone from a garage who were repairing it."
The blaze caused the road to be partially blocked but traffic was eased after around 20 minutes.
