COMPETITORS from across Europe will be taking part in Bradford's first pole and aerial fitness competition.
The event has been organised by Trixters Pole and Aerial Dance Academy, where students are busy training.
"We have about 30 competitors from across the UK and Europe. Categories range from beginner to elite and doubles and for the first time anywhere, a disability category," said Trixters' owner Rebecca Taylor.
The judging panel includes world pole sports champion Bendy Kate, who was on TV's Got to Dance and Get Your Act Together, in which she mentored former pop star Sinitta. Also judging the contest is Deb Roach, Australian and World pole sports champion disabled division and Yvonne Smink, the Dutch pole sports champion.
"All the judges will be performing too, so this event is really going to be a night to remember," said Rebecca.
The competition takes place at Trixters in Sunbridge Road on Saturday, September 6. Doors open at 12.15pm and the event starts at 1pm.
