POLICE are hunting a man over the abduction and attempted sexual assault of a 17-year-old girl who was forced into a car and driven to Bradford.

An E-fit of the suspect was released today as details were released of the incident on February 21 which left the victim extremely distressed.

At around 10.30pm the 17-year-old victim was forced into a car, which was described as a dark, three-door vehicle, on Huddersfield Road, Westtown, Dewsbury.

She was driven to Bradford and Halifax before being driven back to Dewsbury where the man attempted to sexually assault her but she managed to get away from him.

The male suspect is described as an Asian man, with dark brown eyes, dark curly hair and beard and in his 20s.

Detective Constable Michael Smith, of Kirklees CID, said: "We are investigating this incident and would like to speak to anyone who recognises this man pictured in the E-fit.

"The victim is extremely distressed by the incident and we are keen to locate this man. I would like to stress that this is an isolated incident and no other incidents have been reported.
