Demolition of Prospect Mills is set to begin this morning as Thornton Road remains closed with fire crews still hosing down the building destroyed in a fire yesterday.
And it has emerged one officer had to be treated for heat exhaustion while tackling the fire yesterday afternoon.
Terraced homes in adjoining Prospect Street are still evacuated where properties are now at risk from a four-storey mill wall.
Demolition experts Thomas Crompton are on site and will first try to remove material from inside the building using a huge grab.
Another busy day for our firefighters and officers, well done once again for helping to keep West Yorkshire safe

Bradford Fire Station Commander Ronnie Goldwater said: "Our worst fear is always building collapse, but the teams who got here first did an excellent job of controlling the fire.
"There was tremendous heat from the building.
"The wooden floors have 100 years of oil and lanolin soaked into them so the fire spreads very quickly."

"And it was such a hot day that one of our officers had to be treated for heat exhaustion at Bradford Royal Infirmary due to working in full protective clothing.
"The mill is very close to properties and we got everyone out quickly, which is always a priority.
"It's been an excellent piece of firemanship by all involved."
