A FUN-filled few days are in store across the Bradford district this Bank Holiday weekend, with events ranging from live music to festivals.

Starting tonight will be the first Ivegate Music Festival, which is being hosted by The 1875 Bar, in Ivegate, in the city centre.

More than 20 local bands and musicians will be performing at the festival, which runs until Sunday.

The event is free and will start at 6pm today, 2pm tomorrow, and at 6pm on Sunday.

Another music festival in the city this weekend is Infest, which will take place at the University of Bradford Students’ Union.

The three-day festival, which starts tonight, promises to bring the best alternative electronic music to Bradford.

Tickets for the whole weekend and for single days are still available at infestuk.com.

A Sausage and Cider Festival is being held all weekend at the Bier Keller and Brew Haus bars in Bradford’s West End.

Along with a range of products for people to try and live music, the festival will also mark the first anniversary of the rebirth of this area of the city.

Nigel Holliday, director of Tokyo Industries which owns the bars, said: “It’s been a very exciting year, and what’s been really special is being involved in bringing this great city back to life.”

Tomorrow, the 98th annual Haworth, Oxenhope, Lees and Cross Roads Flower, Vegetable and Produce Show will return to Haworth Village Hall.

The show will begin at 2pm at the hall in Butt Lane, with a tombola and a raffle at 4pm to raise money for the Manorlands Sue Ryder hospice, at Oxenhope, near Keighley.

On Sunday, the Harley-Davidson ride-out will return to Baildon from 1pm, with the legendary bikes taking over the roads in the town.

It will be followed by a family fun day at Baildon Rugby Club from 2pm, featuring archery, a bike show and lots of community stalls.

Northgate and Hallcliffe, in Baildon, will both be closed between 12.15pm and 1.15pm for the bike parade.

A family fun day is taking place at Gomersal Cricket Club in Sugden Park, Cleckheaton, on Sunday, from 1pm to 6pm, with live music, activities and a bar.
