Twitter users are taking to the social media platform to ask about issues involving replies to comments.
On Monday evening Tweeters were left in the dark about what people were replying to their comments, instead receiving comments such as "Uh oh, an error was encountered" and "Cannot receive Tweets at this time. Please try again later."
According to Down Detector, issues started just before 9pm receiving 1,825 reports of issues around this time.
Problems with the social media site are recorded throughout the UK.

Of the problems reported, 80% related to problems with the app, 19% related to the website and 1% related to login.
Downdetector only reports an incident when the number of problem reports is significantly higher than the typical volume for that time of day.
