A Bradford city centre bar which serves popular beers from across the world has been named CAMRA’s Pub of the Season.

Boar & Fable first opened its doors on North Parade in 2020.

The bar offers a range of locally brewed and continental beers on both cask and keg - including those from Germany, Belgium, and the US.

Styling itself as a ‘Continental Bier Cafe’, the sound of live bands playing blues and rock is never far away.

CAMRA has now named Boar & Fable as the ‘Pub of the Season for Winter 2023’.

Reacting to the big announcement, the bar’s owner, James, said: “It is really nice to be recognised for stuff like this, especially with how strong competition is in the Bradford district.

“Bradford city centre really is a hidden gem for Cask Lovers.

“I personally want to thank my amazing team who make this job the best/most fun thing in the world - Dave, Claire, Rachel & Kris you're all ace. Thanks to the Peacock Crew for their consistent support and thanks to anyone who I've roped into slinging some pints when we’ve been in the weeds.

“Thanks to anyone who's been in over the last year, your support for our local independent business and local grassroots music is the reason we can still do what we do.”

James added: “We've got a load planned for 2023 that we're really excited to share with you, including a big Boar on Tour announcement early next week.

“Your support means the world.”
