In addition, the award ceremony aims to highlight the innovative people and companies across Bradford who are putting their region on the map.

The Business of the Year award will go to the stand-out firm from the earlier category winners.

The award shortlist is set to be unveiled soon, and all those in the running will be invited to attend the event on July 20.

This year for the first time, the venue is to be the Walton View Hotel, Drighlington, Bradford. The awards night will be hosted by former ITV Calendar presenter Duncan Wood.

Steve Lowe, sales director at LOCALiQ, said: “It is fantastic to be hosting Bradford’s Business Awards for 2023, with the spotlight on Bradford as we head towards the 2025 City of Culture, we need more than ever to be showcasing our business best and highlight our district as a great place to do business.

“For 2023 we have secured a brand-new venue, that has only opened in early 2023, a new stage and AV supplier, a new entertainment supplier and added in three new categories to reflect the changes in the way local businesses are changing to embrace creativity, health and wellbeing and thinking of sustainability.”

Organised in partnership with Bradford Council, the awards have attracted sponsorship from a number of prominent local organisations, including: Bradford College, Bradford 2025, Bradford BID, Sekhon Group, NHS Healthy Minds, Christeyns, Thorite, BHP, Solenis, Joseph Parr, University of Bradford, and Blacks Solicitors.
