A BRADFORD care home has been named as one of the top 20 in the region.

Well Springs Nursing Home, off Toller Lane, has been chosen out of 1,406 care homes in Yorkshire and the Humber to receive an award from carehome.co.uk.

The gong is based on reviews of the care home written by their residents, as well as their friends and relatives.

Ben Redhead, managing director of Well Springs Nursing Home, said: “Well Springs is a family-run stand-alone nursing home doing things differently.

"We have a team of staff made up of salt of the earth people who embed our values day in and day out.

"Our aim is to care for the staff so they have all the tools and time they need to properly care for those who need us."

Amanda Hopkins, reviews manager of carehome.co.uk, added: “We would like to congratulate Well Springs Nursing Home on being a Top 20 care home in Yorkshire and the Humber as their reviews show they provide an excellent standard of care.

"It is such an achievement to be named as a top-rated care home by the residents who actually receive the care as well as their family and friends.”
