THE first official signs have appeared on a new Bradford city centre market.
Darley Street Market, which is set to house around 40 businesses, is expected to open later this year.
The market will replace the city centre’s two existing markets – Kirkgate and Oastler.
Built on the site of the former Darley Street M&S, the building will have three floors, one selling non-food goods, one selling fresh food, and the top floor being the food court.
This week, signage has been placed on the market itself and a wall nearby.
Pictures show how the sign is visible as you take the walk up Darley Street from Kirkgate.
Bradford Markets said it looked "cool, bold and sophisticated with its shades on this bright, sunny morning".
