A MOTHER has called for action over the damp inside her Incommunities property.

Amberine Hill lives in a flat in the Kelvin House block on the city's largest estate, Holme Wood.

Amberine, who shares the Danecourt Road home with her son, claims the damp has been in her bathroom for "over three months".

She says it is "not a good property for young children to be living in" - also pointing to the lack of extractor fans.

The housing association added that they are trying to gain access to that property to fix the issue.

Workers attended the address on Thursday and Incommunities say Amberine is being kept up to date with their progress to resolve the cause of the leak.

"I have concerns because my property does not have fans in the bathroom and kitchen.

"I think a lot of people will come forward with similar issues with Incommunties.

"They are not investigating thoroughly enough what the issue is."
