SOMERSET moved ahead on day one of their LV= County Championship Division One clash at Headingley, with Yorkshire losing five wickets during the afternoon to slip to 206-8 after 64 overs.

Alex Lees completed an eye-catching 83, but he was one of the wickets to fall as the champions slipped from 132-3 to 181-7, including two wickets for Tim Groenewald and three for Peter Trego.

Lees, who received his county cap this morning from skipper Andrew Gale, was caught behind off Trego, who had earlier bowled Jonny Bairstow. Groenewald had Adil Rashid caught and bowled and Rich Pyrah lbw.

Trego then got Steve Patterson caught behind in the penultimate over before tea.

Jack Leaning has helped the hosts get above 200 with an unbeaten 37.
