FARSLEY climbed back up to third in the Evo-Stik League Division One North table as they toppled second-placed Droylsden with a 2-0 away victory.

It was a superb performance by Neil Parsley's men and a deserved win, with Aiden Savory on target in the first half and Marcus Edwards doubling the lead in the second half.

Silsden were also 2-0 winners as they beat AFC Blackpool at home in the North West Counties League Premier Division.

Ben Crabtree and Zack Dale both netted in the first half for the Cobbydalers.

In the Toolstation Northern Counties East League, Liversedge earned a valuable Premier Division point from a 2-2 draw at Retford United, with Andy Wood bagging both goals.

But Thackley lost 3-2 at home as goals by Nathaniel Dacres and Mike Garrod proved too little for the Dennyboys.

Albion Sports travel to take on Bridlington Town tomorrow night in the same section.
