Struggling Liversedge host last season’s runners-up Bridlington Town in the Toolstation Northern Counties East Premier Division at Clayborn tomorrow night.
Sedge go into the game on the back of a heavy home defeat but they were unfortunate in the 3-0 loss to Barton Town Old Boys. It took the visitors an hour to break Sedge down before netting twice in the last seven minutes.
Brid have had a poor start by their standards and were held to a 0-0 draw at Retford United, who are just below 17th-placed Sedge, at the weekend. However, they will be driven by the fact that they will break through the 20-point barrier if they avoid defeat.
