THE top of Division One takes centre stage in the Bradford Sunday Alliance League tomorrow as leaders Manningham take on Oakenshaw in a match that could have a key bearing on the title outcome.
Manningham have hit a rich vein of form to edge ahead of their third-placed opponents but Oakenshaw are just two points adrift and, perhaps crucially, have two matches in hand.
Oakenshaw may also have a psychological edge, having thumped their title rivals 4-1 in the reverse fixture back in October.
White Eagles, currently second on goal difference ahead of Oakenshaw, will also have a big say in the promotion outcome as they play all the top teams in the next few weeks. They host second-bottom Cuedos Rangers tomorrow.
In the Premier Division, long-time leaders Stanningley Albion visit third-placed Peel Park, while Thornton United – who are second – entertain Sandy Lane, who are fifth, in another big match-up.
