THE Bulls are to launch a new kit for their Summer Bash fixture against Halifax on Saturday, May 23, which will be unveiled ahead of Friday's home derby against their West Yorkshire rivals.

The limited edition strip, seeing in a 'whole new era', marking 'a whole new event' and providing 'a whole new look', will go on sale immediately after being revealed at 6.30pm in the Provident Stadium's marquee.

Designed and produced by the club's official kit supplier ISC, the shirt embraces the excitement of the summer season and been purposely designed to support the uniqueness of the weekend, which will see all 12 Kingstone Press Championship sides do battle over the course of 48 hours.

“This is a very exciting new piece of Bradford Bulls attire, featuring what I believe is a funky design and an innovative new look,” said chief executive Robbie Hunter-Paul.

“It is completely removed from anything the club has delivered in recent years, anchoring into what is an innovative new event in the shape of the Summer Bash.

“This, we believe, will prove extremely popular and will be a kit to remember for many years to come.

“The excitement of Friday Night Fight Night will be kicked off by the launch of this special new jersey.

“It will also mark the start of what looks set to be an exciting three-game series, our very own 'State of Origin', against the men in blue and white.”

The kit will be exclusively available to all those who have already secured tickets for the inaugural Summer Bash.

The period of exclusivity will last for just two weeks, however, with shirts going on general sale on Sunday March 19.

To witness the grand unveiling, supporters must ensure they are inside the Provident Stadium's marquee before 6.30pm on Friday.
