ELLIOT Kear admits he would love to play for the Bulls again one day as he prepares to face his former club on Sunday.

Kear recently joined London Broncos and underlined his quality with a classy display in the thumping win over Sheffield Eagles at the Summer Bash.

He scored two tries and was dangerous throughout from full back as the Broncos, playing under the watchful eye of coaching consultant Brian Noble, cantered to a 46-6 win.

Kear was among the departures from Odsal at the end of last season's disastrous campaign which saw the Bulls relegated from the top flight.

He had hoped to stay but was not offered any deal and ended up having a short stint in rugby union with London Welsh prior to joining the Broncos.

"I really enjoyed my time at Bradford and would love to see myself back there at some point in my career," said 26-year-old Kear.

"You never know what can happen and if the opportunity arose then I'd strongly consider it.

"I loved my time there and even last weekend at Blackpool, all the Bradford fans showed their support for me during our game against Sheffield.

"They were all cheering me when I scored and I want to thank them for that because they made me feel pretty special."

Kear spent three seasons at Odsal after arriving from Crusaders ahead of the 2012 campaign and became a mainstay of the Bulls side on the wing.

"I was really disappointed that there was nothing actually offered to me," he said.

"I know they had to budget for going down and you can't offer everyone Super League contracts in the Championship. But it still would have been nice to be offered something to stay.

"When our relegation became official, there was a bit of uncertainty about who was staying and who was going.

"Some of the lads said the club had approached them but in the end Bradford didn't offer me anything.

"It wasn't my choice to leave and I was put in a position where I had to go out and work – so when the opportunity came up at London Welsh, I took it."
