TONY McMahon has today made his expected return to City after signing a two-year deal.
The versatile 29-year-old, who can play in midfield or defence, spent the closing stages of last season at Valley Parade on loan from Blackpool.
He came off the bench four times, scoring in the 3-0 win at Doncaster on Good Friday, before starting the final four matches.
Phil Parkinson said: "Tony gives us good options. He's a very good professional and a leader.
"I wanted to bring him back here. It's taken a while but we're delighted to have got it done."
McMahon is City's third new arrival of the week after the capture of Steve Davies and Josh Morris.
