IT was obviously a very disappointing result in midweek against Featherstone – but it’s all about bouncing back to form now ahead of the Super Eights.

We know we underperformed on Wednesday night, especially as we had gone there earlier in the season and won comfortably.

Fair play to Fev, they are a good side and they showed that at Odsal.

Now, though, it’s about what we do and that means producing the right response against Hunslet on Sunday.

The end-of-season Super Eights, when our promotion hopes will be decided, are coming into increasingly sharp focus.

Although I have missed the past three games, I have not sulked and am ready to go if I get my chance this weekend.

I have stayed positive and will hopefully get an opportunity to show what I can do.

We have got a big squad and Jimmy has to use his players as he sees fit because it’s all about the team.

I have enjoyed playing at Bradford but it would have been good to get an opportunity in the centres.

I only got one chance there when we played Castleford but I did really well at centre during my time at Sheffield last year.

I can play wing and centre so, wherever Jimmy puts me, I will play as I just need to get into the team.

When you get a chance, you need to take it with both hands because the stakes are getting higher as we approach the end of the season.

Wakefield have signed a few players recently, most notably Kevin Locke, who I think will do well there.

Hull KR have also caught my eye in recent games and my good pal Albert Kelly is playing really well.

He’s a fantastic player and they have guys such as Kenny Sio – another top talent.

I played with Albert Kelly at Parramatta and we hung out together a lot away from rugby, watching movies.

In fact, he still has a load of my DVDs!

Kenny Sio is killing it at Hull KR as well and it’s good to see former team-mates doing well.

I don’t think Hull KR will finish in the bottom four because they have beaten some good teams and are in the Challenge Cup semi-finals.

It should be a really tough battle in the Super Eights.
