LEADERS Halifax Direct have made sure of the Dales Council League's A Division championship with a comprehensive victory over Farnley Hill at Tong.
Hill were dismissed for only 103, Halifax Direct winning by nine wickets.
Second-placed Bradford Moor suffered a heavy defeat, however, after Savile Stars made 238-8 (Nasir Ahmed 74) at Karmand.
Moor who then bowled out for 136, thanks to 6-26 from Moshin Raja, but third-placed Leeds Sikh had an even more emphatic triumph than Halifax Direct.
Bottom-placed Esholt were castled for 104 at Tong Park before Manish Parimoo scored an unbeaten 64 to help Sikh to a ten-wicket win.
New Wortley joined in with the one-sided matches by dismissing lowly Pudsey St Lawrence for 117 at Roundhay, winning by nine wickets.
In contrast, Kaleem Afzal (114) and Abdul Halim (75) helped Thornbury to amass 267-7 at Smithy Lane, hosts Cookridge making a spirited reply of 227, with Waqas Ali scoring 83.
In the B Division, former Aire Wharfe League club Woodhouse assured themselves of the trophy by defeating their visitors and nearest rivals Drighlington.
Woodhouse scored 213-8 before dismissing Drig for 132. However, third-placed Baildon B's victory over Crompark at Jenny Lane was not enough to prevent Drighlington from finishing as runners-up.
Baildon made 151-8 (Tom Hopwood 85) and then bowled out Crompark for 124.
Farsley gained 18 points when Adel conceded, while Cookridge B and Morley had byes.
C Division champions Thornbury B amassed 236-9 at Daleside Road, with Wasim Ahmed (89no) and and Taz Bashir (56) leading the way, Baildon then being dismissed for 93, thanks to 5-17 from skipper Imran Mahmood.
Cookridge C were bowled out for only 48 at Haycliffe Lane by Great Horton, who triumphed by eight wickets. while Drighlington B were awarded 18 points when Pudsey Congs B conceded.
Despite having a bye, along with Pudsey St Lawrence B, Leeds Sikh B were assured of promotion, with Congs not gaining any points.
