LEEDS Sikh have gone joint top of A Division in the Dales Council League.

Leeds Sikh scored 285-7 (Raghunath Chandrasekaran 92no, Navjit Degun 57) at Gledhow before bowling out Pudsey Congs for only 50.

New Wortley made 179-6 at Roundhay before holding Farnley Hill to 128-8 to go joint top.

Former leaders Bradford Moor were bowled out at home for 71 (Rob Holmes 5-36), visitors Cookridge making 73-2 for an easy win.

In C Division, Morley maintained their 100 per cent record by dismissing Halifax Direct B for 128 at Karmand, having earlier made 155, while Shipley Providence were six-wicket winners at Haycliffe Lane after castling Great Horton Park Chapel for 84, Mohammed Haneef returning the remarkable figures of 5-1 from four overs.

Martin Douglass was also in form with the ball for Drighlington B, taking 6-25 to help skittle Caribbean B for just 54 after the visitors had made 146-9, while Farsley won by eight wickets at Sandal after dismissing Baildon B for 60.
