NEW Cougars boss Craig Lingard is continuing to shape his squad for next season with the acquisition of Castleford youngster Davey Dixon.

The Scotland international plays for Castleford's Under-19s and is a full back or winger, becoming the fourth new signing since Lingard was appointed.

Dixon’s arrival comes after Neil Cherryholme and brothers Darren and Ritchie Hawkyard penned new deals earlier this week.

But centre Hamish Barnes and second-rower Aaron Ollett have joined Dewsbury Rams.
