JORDY Hiwula will have his sights on a personal treble at Chesterfield this afternoon.

The Proact Stadium has proved to be a profitable venue for the on-loan Huddersfield hitman.

He heads there targeting a third goal and third win with a third different club.

"Last year with Wigan, we were 2-0 down with ten minutes to go then got a couple back and I scored the last-minute winner," recalled Hiwula.

"Then I had another good day with Walsall there in the second half of the season. I got another goal and set up two and we won 4-1.

"I don't know what it is about playing at Chesterfield but for some reason I always have a good game when I go over there.

"Hopefully it will continue with Bradford – and if I could score again it would be a good achievement."

With no James Hanson or Marc McNulty, Hiwula is set to keep his place in Stuart McCall's frontline.

But Billy Clarke's impressive cameo from the bench against Fleetwood, which is likely to earn him a recall, shows the competition for attacking spots.

"It keeps you on your toes and makes everyone work harder on the training pitch," said Hiwula.

"You want to make it difficult for the manager when he picks the team.

"It's nice for me to have a couple of goals but, as a striker, you want to go out and score every game."

City have already set a club record by staying unbeaten over the first ten league games.

With top two Scunthorpe and Bury facing each other, McCall's men can make further inroads if they can follow up the midweek win with another three points.

Hiwula said: "We're proud of what we've done. It shows that all the lads have been working hard and we've been playing well.

"We just want to continue the run and carry on as we've been doing. It's a big achievement but it doesn't stop here.

"It's a competitive league this year and there are a lot of big teams. But we know when we're playing those sides, we've got to work just as hard as them – if not harder."

City ended their sequence of five successive draws by beating Fleetwood but they had their work cut out.

It was the third time in four home games they have recovered after conceding first and Hiwula feels that is proof of the team's character.

He said: "That shows our heads don't drop. We went 1-0 down on Tuesday and it could have been tricky.

"Fleetwood were playing very well and they were keeping the ball, which restricted us getting possession.

"But we knew that if we kept on pushing, the equaliser would come and then a winning goal and that's what happened.

"We're not looking further than the next game but keep it going and let's see where it takes us."
