BRADFORD Bulls boss Eamon O’Carroll has confirmed that Eribe Doro will be out for around eight weeks following an injury sustained in last week’s Challenge Cup defeat at home to Widnes Vikings.

The former Warrington Wolves man limped off after 20 minutes of the contest with an ankle injury (ligaments), and he left Odsal on crutches after the game.

Doro, who was set to miss the next two games through suspension, is now scheduled to miss a two-month period of the season.

Speaking to the T&A, manager O’Carroll said: “We lost Eribe in the Widnes game last weekend and unfortunately, he is set to be out for around eight weeks, so that’s another reason why we are looking to bring people in.

“I know we’ve not necessarily brought in a like for like for Eribe, but we’ve brought in Keanan who will help us to shuffle the pack around a little bit.

“I’m really disappointed for Eribe because he’s been fantastic for us and you can clearly see he’s enjoying his rugby at the minute, so it’s a big blow.

“He’ll be missed but he’ll bring an injection of energy when he returns to the side.”
