Team news: Boss Graham Alexander says everyone except Jake Young, Sam Stubbs and Alex Pattison are in contention to play but that the latter two, despite returning to training, are unlikely to be risked again in the side this season.

Referee: Jacob Miles, from Sussex, only became an EFL referee ahead of this season, and is yet to take charge of a City game before this one. He did however oversee Salford's goalless draw at Barrow in October.
